Tango Brook Technologies has marked its first anniversary by reaching over 150 corporate customers for its fuel management platform. The milestone was announced by Executive Chairman Peter Atuma during a celebration event in Lagos, themed “Powering Accountability.”
The company’s customer portfolio features notable organizations, including Flour Mills of Nigeria, Seven-Up Bottling Company, and United Bank for Africa. Atuma emphasized the need for improved visibility and control over energy expenditures, addressing inefficiencies associated with traditional manual processes.
Initially focused on fuel payments through the Tango Fuel Card, the company has since expanded its services to include Tango Fleet Management and GenVault solutions. These innovations aim to enhance monitoring of vehicle fleets and fuel consumption, ultimately providing businesses with greater control over energy spending.
Looking ahead, Tango Brook is planning to extend its reach beyond Nigeria, with operations already established in Ghana, Sierra Leone, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. A strategic partnership is also in the works to facilitate entry into Southern Africa by January 2027.
The company’s evolution reflects its ambition to become a leading energy-spend management platform across emerging markets, utilizing data to reduce leakages and improve operational efficiency. With ISO 27001:2022 certification already obtained, Tango Brook is poised for significant growth in the African technology landscape.
